Dr. Lina M. Houhou is a distinguished oral surgeon/implantologist. She graduated from the Lebanese University in 2000 with a degree in Dental Surgery and subsequently obtained a Diploma in Oral Biology in 2002. She pursued further studies at Saint Joseph University, earning a specialized diploma in Implantology in 2010.
With a passion for oral surgery , Dr. Houhou advanced her studies by obtaining a highly specialized diploma in Oral Surgery (DESS) in 2012. Her dedication to improving her expertise led her to specialize further in Oral Pathology, focusing on conditions related to the hard and soft tissues of the oral cavity, achieving academic excellence in 2014.
Throughout her career, Dr. Houhou has gained extensive experience working in her private clinic in Lebanon, as well as in several reputable clinics and hospitals in Beirut and Mount Lebanon.
Her contributions to the healthcare field include collaborating with the Ministry of Health from 2017 to 2024 to improve the quality of healthcare in her home country.
In 2021, Dr. Houhou relocated to the United Arab Emirates, where she began practicing in Abu Dhabi. Her primary interests include bone grafting, implantology, cysts of jaws, impacted teeth, oral medicine and holistic patient care. She is highly regarded by her patients for her gentle and compassionate approach, ensuring personalized treatments tailored to individual needs.
