Dr. Asma Taha is a General Practitioner who has helped over a thousand people achieve their dental health goals. As part of her job, she performs basic cleaning, tooth extractions, root canal treatments, veneers, and teeth whitening. She caters to the needs of growing children, teenagers, and adults. Her goal is to educate people about healthy oral practices that will last them a lifetime, allowing them to feel proud of their smiles.
Born in Baghdad, Iraq, Dr. Taha was inspired to become a dentist after observing her aunt help patients with their oral health. She attended Baghdad University and, after receiving her license and board certification in 1995, worked at a dental center in Baghdad. She then practiced in a government hospital and a private clinic until 2008. Afterward, she moved to the UAE to practice general dentistry in Ajman, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi.
As part of her commitment to oral wellness, Dr. Taha has attended numerous conferences and workshops on direct and indirect veneers. She earned various qualifications, including a certificate in implant dentistry from ITI, hosted by the University of Sharjah, after completing its three modules. Dr. Taha has also taught students at Rosary School and many others how to brush and care for their teeth. She hopes that her work will continue to improve the smiles of her community, encouraging people to gain more self-confidence and pursue the things they love.
